Safe Environment Parent Note & Forms for the 2020/2021 Year (via Flocknote)
Dear Parents of Faith Formation students,
By the Diocese of Bismarck, our parish is required to annually complete Safe Environment Training for every child, grades K-12. Due to COVID restrictions and the difficulties we faced meeting in person this past school year, we have opted to send parent-led, home-based training materials via email for parents to read and discuss with their children.
The parish will be audited to ensure compliance with this requirement, and we need your prompt assistance. We ask that you follow these steps:
1. IMPORTANT: Upon reading this email, please reply either:
OPT-IN, if you WILL read and discuss the Safe Environment training materials with your children.
OPT-OUT, if you WILL NOT read and discuss the Safe Environment training materials with your children.
2. Attached, you will find seven files. Please begin by reading the "Letter to Parents."
3. Next, please read and discuss the appropriate training materials for your children's grade level(s).
