Born and raised in Poland, Sr. Gaudia studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw before entering the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy in 2005 and making her perpetual profession of vows in 2014.
For 6 years, Sister ministered to Englishand Spanish-speaking pilgrims at the Divine Mercy Shrine in Cracow where she also worked in the Faustinum Association of the Apostles of Divine Mercy. In 2015, she completed her postgraduate studies in journalism.
Besides media work, Sr. Gaudia enjoys youth ministry and served for two years on a team coordinating events for World Youth Day Krakow 2016. Her current assignment is to spread the message of Mercy at the Saint John Paul II National Shrine in Washington, DC.
